In 2013 Benjamin Zimmer and Mateusz Sójka founded the Podcast Tech Company Podigee. The two specialists for Software-as-a-Service and podcast fans offered a convenient service for demanding and professional media producers who had previously had to make do with elaborately self-maintained solutions for their podcasts.

With world-class reliability, advanced technology and stellar customer support, the two founders hit a nerve even then, so that Podigee has grown enormously over the years as one of the pioneers of the podcasting landscape.

Although the Berlin-based company has largely retained the start-up spirit in its culture, the SaaS service provider has long outgrown this label:
